The body of the snake is crafted from 18-kt gold links which articulate in a wonderfully snake-like way. The links themselves are rounded, which makes the necklace very comfortable to wear. The clasp then clips into the side of the head, which is intricately carved with an intertwining foliate design. The mouth is open, showing teeth, and holding the loop from which hangs the heart-shaped pendant with a turquoise stone at its center. The eyes are decorated with cabochon cut rubies, the head mounted with turquoise, providing extra style.
